Churchville Beach House Chic Kitchen
A dated, dimly lit kitchen with raised-panel cabinets and black tile counters reborn as a light-filled "Beach House Chic" kitchen — white custom cabinetry, glass tile, marble counters, a Wolf range, and clever hidden storage throughout.

The challenge
The original Churchville kitchen felt dark and dated — glossy white raised-panel cabinets, black tile countertops, a busy mosaic backsplash, a zebra-print valance, and black appliances closed the room in. A separate, tiled beverage alcove and a cramped layout left the hardworking heart of the home feeling tired and disconnected from the family that lived in it.
The vision
We reimagined the space as a bright, breezy "Beach House Chic" kitchen: crisp white custom cabinetry with glass-front uppers, a shimmering blue hexagon glass tile backsplash, marble and speckled-granite counters, a beadboard ceiling, and whitewashed plank floors. A generous island with patterned stools and a prep sink anchors the room beneath a trio of beaded chandeliers, while a built-in beverage center with a wine fridge, a window-seat breakfast nook, a hidden laundry behind a marble surround, and a wall of professional Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances make it as functional as it is beautiful.
The result
A light-filled, hardworking kitchen layered with coastal charm — and engineered for everyday life. Behind the pretty cabinet fronts sits a suite of custom storage solutions: a tall pull-out pantry, dovetailed spice and pantry drawers, a vertical sheet-pan divider, an angled corner cabinet, dual under-sink waste pull-outs, a custom flatware organizer, and even a hidden pull-out ironing board — every drawer signed with the Nina Green Signature Series mark.
Drag to compare
The full kitchen — from a dark, dated galley to an open, light-filled beach house chic kitchen.
The beverage center — a cramped, tiled corner transformed into a polished butler-style bar.
