Putting a Spanish Influence on a Modern Kitchen
Do you ever feel conflicted with the decision between multiple design styles? Not knowing how to choose between them, or choosing which one will work best in your space? Taking influences from one style and incorporating it with another solves that issue!
Spanish Influence in A Kitchen
In this project, we created a Spanish Modern Kitchen design to give our clients the perfect combination of a modern kitchen with influences from Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona is important to these clients because it was their honeymoon spot. Learning the sentimental value of Spain, we knew we had to incorporate it into the design.
Creating the Modern Feel
To create the modern feel in this kitchen we paired white cabinets with dark countertops to have a clean contrast. In order to get that minimalist look of modern design, while still keeping the space interesting we used white subway tile with black grout. Pairing this with a beautiful Spanish tile behind the range we were able to successfully deliver the Spanish feel in the kitchen. Complete with black finishes and unique lighting fixtures, we were proud to reveal this space to our clients.
Merging Multiple Design Styles
Merging multiple different design styles may not always be doable, but keeping selections similar in color or finish can help your space feel uniform and not totally mix-match. If you need help figuring out the best way to incorporate your two styles into your home’s interior design in West Chester, PA, feel free to reach out to us. We love a new challenge!
