Transitional Powder Room
A transitional powder room remodel featuring travertine tile, custom vanity and granite countertop.
NGD Interiors was tasked to making this dated hall powder room into something a guest would feel comfortable to use. The existing tiled surround was removed and replaced with fresh smooth drywall in a serene aqua shade. An attractive bow front vanity in a dark wood finish was used in place of a pedestal sink. The closed storage makes it convenient to store extra toilet paper or cleaning supplies, while the bow front custom granite top with under-counter sink provides a little extra room on top for beautiful soaps.
Easy to clean surfaces such as the one piece Kohler toilet and easy to maintain brushed nickel finishes were used for the faucet, towel ring and toilet paper holder.
We added a few mixed metal details by adding an oil rubbed bronze overhead light. We finished this transitional powder room with an oval beaded mirror in a dark oil rubbed bronze finish.
