Traditional Eat In Kitchen Refresh

Traditional Eat in Kitchen Refresh

A traditional eat in kitchen refresh & living room featuring soft aquas, limestone & glass backsplash, with dark wood accents.

NGD Interiors helped refresh this kitchen with style!  The client requested to have the sink moved from the island and placed under the window allowing her views of the beautiful pool and patio, all while maintaining the existing cabinetry. NGD Interiors incorporated a design plan that implemented moving and using existing cabinetry, as well as procurring custom matched cabinets for a seamless look. The existing large and clunky hood was removed, allowing us to incorporate a sleek stainless steel hood and beautiful backsplash tile accent.  A few appliances, such as the cooktop, was upgraded to a 36″ gas top. A built-in microwave was incorporated into existing cabinetry, freeing up counterspace.  The pantry, in its existing state, had ill fitting wire shelving.  Removing the shelving allowed us to fit a cabinet with a long countertop,  plugs for small appliances, an under-counter refrigerator and attractive shelving.

Pet friendly finishes were added such as a collar activated pet door, allowing access for her prized pooch onto the patio.  Other pet friendly finishes such as the luxury vinyl plank flooring that mimics wood plank flooring was used throughout the traditional eat in kitchen and carried into the adjoining great room.

New finishes for the traditional eat-in kitchen includes natural stone finishes, an accented tile backsplash, oiled rubbed bronze fixtures and custom upholstered counter stools.  The breakfast nook is stylish with its dark finish round table with complimenting upholstered chairs. The dining and island chairs are upholstered in Perennials fabric, a family & stain friendly fabric that has the look and feel of linen upholstery.  Custom roman shades and cornice were made in an aqua, green and cream striping, bringing in the soft aqua room color used throughout the tradtional eat in kitchen and adjoining great room.  Coordinating area rugs were used both in the adjoining living room and eat in kitchen
